The multiverse
is collapsing.
Spider-people across countless realities are mysteriously disappearing, leaving their worlds unstable and vulnerable to destruction. As entire timelines, lives, heroes, villains, and gods are erased in a growing War Between Webs, Cassandra Webb—Madam Webb—discovers that the disappearances are connected to VOID, an intra-dimensional entity that exists between realities and threatens existence itself.
At the center of the crisis is Peter Benjamin Parker, a young Spider-Man still struggling to understand who he is, what he wants, and how to live an ordinary life while carrying an extraordinary responsibility. Peter is also falling in love with another boy, Nico, making his private life feel just as terrifying and important as the catastrophe unfolding around him.

Infected by a fragment of VOID, Peter gains the ability to transform into Virum—a terrifying, multidimensional Spider-Man capable of entering the darkness consuming the Spider-Verse. Every transformation pulls him closer to the very force he is trying to stop.
